I usually get to your comic through IsItFunnyToday.com and it only lets me hit “Yes” once. I never get to hit it a second time for the rollover text. You should talk to them about that.

A [G] grazing Mace! How [C] sweet the [G] sound
it [G] is a friend to [D7] me.
I [G] once swords crossed, but [C] now Ive [G] found
Its a [G] grazing [D7] mace for [G] me.
My sword it could, but hack and slash
and slay a foe or three
but with my mace I crush and smash
its a grazing mace for me
I swung it once I swung it twice
his sword it went sniker-snee
but then my mace, it found its mark
he now has but one knee
my mace it opens doors for me
it clears my path to eat.
It finds its way into men’s hearts
and lays them at my feet
A grazing Mace! How sweet the sound
it is a friend to me.
I once swords crossed, but now Ive found
Its a grazing mace for me.

So when they pass around the wafer and wine they’re serving wrenches?
Well, wine got to be upgraded to pure ethanol, of course.
No see, “Serving wrenches” was a pune, or play-on-words. Similar to serving wenches, the old term for barmaids.
It wasn’t a very good one, but it was stuck in my head.
Make mine a screwdriver!

This very well may be the single laziest pun I’ve heard in months.

Is that sword vorpal at all? Because sniker-snee sounds an awful lot like snicker-snack.
Thanks for the plug, Luke! By the way, I saw your post on Reddit. Good job, hopefully it’ll make people think twice about hotlinking/imgur-ing.
