Reading the first comment, I instinctively wanted to post some think like: “congratz idiot” or “thanks captain obvious”
But I have to admit that I did not get it unless I read his comment…
For the love of Mike?!?!?!?!? I get the joke, but it is NOT FUNNY. Looks like time for me to get back to npr.org for my humor if that’s the best you can do.
That’s not very nice of you. I’m sure Mr. Surl would be happy to accept criticism, but only if you point out something that’s actually wrong with it in stead of just saying it’s terrible. For instance:
“Your avatar picture is terrible. The colors are terrible and the concept is terrible and the resolution is terrible too.”
vs.
“I think the head on your avatar would look nicer if it were a mite bigger, and perhaps the background would look better red.”
Which is more constructive? Which would you rather receive?
By this time the 2008 Luke Surl he’s criticising is a distant memory. Wizened by the years, 2012 Luke Surl is a mere shell of his former self, he looks back on this bright, optimistic youngster of yesteryear with confusion, or envy - but not familiarity.
AHAHAHAHAHAH I GET IT. Killing two birds with one stone. Ahahahahaha.. Ha…ha…ha….Hm.
that comic just made my day

Wow… Katt is smart. I didn’t think of Killing two birds with one stone. And I was searching for the second weapon when I saw the comic. lol
I see what you did there.
Birds are cool
I didn’t get it at first either. I was trying to figure out what the bird was holding in his hand.
@john: Hahahaha
@everyone: Seriously?…Hilarious and not that hard to figure out.
I got it as soon as I saw it. Hahaha. Great comic
Thought the stone was a bird’s head >_>

this is terrible. the joke is terrible and the ‘art’ is terrible and the whole page’s layout is terrible too.

Haha… great!
In Holland we know a quite similiar expression;
two flies in one hit. at least I think that it means the same.
otherwise I do not get it either.
I thought it was funny… dunno why everybody’s knockin’ it.
I don’t know, either…I think it’s hilarious.

Good work.
Ridiculously clever!
That was ridiculously funny.

I literally burst out loud laughing.
I got it halfway through reading the comments.
I have a pet bird, and don’t use the expression.
A murder of crows?
Two birds with one stone… clever.
And two in the bush, clearly.
But where’s the bush?
