You probably meant to write „Das Leben ist kein Ponyhof“. By the way, there is a second (inofficial) part to this saying: „…aber geritten wird trotzdem!“
Well, actually, in this comic Mr. Surl has shown the two main groups of Pony-watchers in fierce competition. There are the ages 20-35 males, and the ages 3-10 females. I’m not sure anyone knows why the former is a group, but I assume that Mr Surl is a part of it. Thus he isn’t technically stereotyping, merely observing, but he isn’t specifically avoiding stereotypes either.
Who is the pony in the top hat? I would like to meet one so classy.
Also, if the others are actual ponies, it would be interesting to know who they are as well. But as they lack class, they are inherently less interesting people. Ponies, I mean.
Heh, I’m not actually a “Brony”, I’ve just seen clips here and there. I can see how it could have universal appeal though, it looks like one of the best-made cartoons since Pinky & The Brain.
The pony in the Stetson is named Applejacks. The fact I can tell you this does damage my earlier claim.
There’s no ‘s’ at the end of Applejack’s name.
So, actually you just SUPPORTED your claim.
Besides, there’s not NEARLY enough references in that comic for me to suspect you of being a brony. No cutie marks.. The other ponies aren’t even background characters! Unless that one is… nah. No glasses.
…also, where’s MrGBH? You’d think if there were ever a comic to comment on with that avatar..
You may not call yourself a brony, but from your college progress I infer that you’re in the correct age range, and from your name and avatar I infer that you are male, and you’ve referenced the show thrice this year. So although you may not have complete knowledge of the show (or what a Stetson looks like…), you meet the qualifications.
And you’re right, Stravagante. It is curious that MrGBH has remained silent.
Did you put the “l” in “klein” on purpose?
ja

It was a little pun.
extra point for non-gender stereotyping

That Pinkie Pie looks like a Vulpix.
As for where I’ve been, blame Skyrim.
