Is BST the same as GMT? If so, why don’t you just use the latter? British people…
BST is British Summer Time, equivalent to GMT+1, used during the summer months. Since GMT is a time zone, if we were to change it twice a year we’d affect the clocks in the rest of the world, and they get uppity when we do things like that.
Add a few thousand more drunks and it’s spot on!
