And here is Ms. Diamonds, Francesca Dare. Fran creates Penny Blackfeather, which is one of my absolute favourite ongoing comics coming out of the UK small press scene right now. (I’m actually following the comic through the books, which lag a little behind the free web series, so do click that link but no telling me spoilers). It describes itself as “regencypunk”, which I think is something that Fran just made up, but if anything gets to define its own genre it is this. Its immense fun reading with a fantastic wit.
I’ll post another of Fran’s cards later in the week.
