I am *incredibly* confused. Luckily for you, it’s confusion to the point of laughter.
Hah that’s awesome. Took me a minute to see it. Very nice.
Very nice.
emord nila past ah wret sim
That’s amazing. Perfect.
I don’t get this one 🙁 I know explanation kills the point but..? 🙂
Teo, read the man’s words backwards.
Very clever. Took me 10 minutes to figure it out…
Bravo
This is why you’re pro Luke
And now, the unfortunate word hobo has a grip on the language and can better himself.
LOL
helps if you know what palindrome is. also, random hobo dude asking for linguistic help is random.
It took me a moment, too. Clever one.
pure genious
i dont get it
I always thought that any palindrome that uses random exclamations and choppy unnatural sounding phrases should really be considered palindromes proper.
or rather, should not really be considered palindromes proper.
Agreed; but palindrome proper or no, this strip belies impressive wit (or too much idle time).
TACO CAT! . . . . . . (yes, I meant to shout that.)
took me a second, but that’s awesome 😀
I don’t get it 🙁
From the last frame towards the centre, all the speech bubbles, when read backwards, read “backward is as it is”.
Did anyone else get really annoyed by the extra A from as??
Yes. It has an extra a, hence, not a proper palindrome. Sorry, but this isn’t as clever as it is making itself out to be.
Actually, the “extra ‘a'” is simply the middle letter, so it’s in the same position forwards as it is backwards.
Another palindrome- Lonely Tylenol
Well, actually, the t is the middle. The a from one “as” corresponds to the a from the other. . . Also taco cat.
“Wo, Nemo! Toss a lasso to me now!”
Took me a minute. Figured it had to be a palindrome because it didn’t flow as well as most of the dialogue in these comics. Awesome.
No, sir, away! A papaya war is on! Now, sir, a war is won. . . Also, Taco cat.
