The significance of #500 isn’t in the assignment of a cardinal number, it is in the actual ordinal number. This is the 500th, no matter what you call it. Congrats!
Ah, my numbering system has a LOT of holes in it – there are plenty of Bs, and a couple of Cs, a few ‘bonus’ comics which don’t have numbers, at least one number has been done twice and a couple of numbers got skipped. Overall, WordPress currently records 514 posts in the “comics” category.
