Luke Surl Comics

Hey,

So there’s a wedding this weekend, you might have heard about it? This Friday’s comic isn’t the only thing I’ve drawn on the subject. On Wednesday night I pencilled a four-panel ‘toon on the subject, not really appreciating at the time that there was no conceivable way I could get the comic inked and coloured before the nuptials themselves made the image outdated. I tried asking Buckingham palace to delay the ceremony for 24 hours, but no such luck.

So, instead of discarding the comic entirely, I attach a scanning of my pencils (with lettering). If nothing else, this may give a little insight into the comic creating process (and possibly my subconscious)
