Hey all,
I’m going to be at the UK Webcomics and Mini Comics thing in a little over a month, and I was thinking of printing a few collections to sell. It would probably be in the region of 32 pages long, so I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to which comics should (or should not) “make the cut”…
Be happy,
L
P.S. Have you read Orbit? It’s a fun comic, you might like it.
I like Orbit, too!
I say pick 32 comics at random.
no no not at random!!
you need to pick the ones that look best printed i.e. look at colour and shape and also of course at how funny it is.
My absolute favourite of all of yours is the one with the fish playing hide and seek as an explanation for the fish leaving the sea and it would look really good printed
Also the one with the two birds one stone; the one with the coffin (that you used for suits of solemn black); the ones with the twelve days of christmas are cute (but maybe out of season); the one with the guy phoning the girl who isn’t replying; the one with the whale reading the letter; the absolutely hilarious one with the handicapped guy in the wheelchair; the big mole; god doesn’t play dice anymore… etc
I’m totally going to terrorist this datacube.
What about sorting them in categories i.e. science, religion, computer, politics, daily grind, pop culture etc…and then pick the best 4 in each category?
Am looking forward to meeting you on March 27…
Which reminds me that I still need to print a t-shirt showing my banner. Should make introductions easier…
